General

Can I come on my own?

Absolutely. Many guests like to attend on thier own and YOXMAN is a social weekend. If you would like to attend on your own it is best to book a bedroom or a 1-bedroom exclusive-use property. If you need help choosing a property or bedroom please reach out to our team on call or Whatsapp.

What is YOXMAN?

YOXMAN is a celebration of gastronomy centred around Michelin-starred chefs, hosted at Wilderness Reserve, Suffolk. It is a unique 3-night dining experience that brings together those who love food, wine and the great outdoors. Think of it as the ultimate food weekend break, in the english countryside in which you dine with the best chefs on the planet staying in eclectic and luxurious accommodation.

What are check in and check out times?

Check in for YOXMAN at Wilderness Reserve is usually from 2pm and check out 11.30 am on the final day of the event (usually a Monday.) Some events may vary but this will be made clear on the event specific pages.

How do I book?

To book YOMXAN events choose your desired event and click BUY TICKETS. You will be asked to choose & book your accommodation and tickets for the event are included with the accommodation. Bookings can be done online at the official website: www.yoxman.com. If you have further questions on anything regarding the event or accommodation please email book@yoxman.com or call/ Whatsapp our team. Details are in the footer of the website.

What is the dress code?

There is no official dress code for YOXMAN however as Wilderness Reserve is set in the heart of the English countryside we do encourage sensible, weather appropriate clothes and footwear. Lunch and evening events are smart, casual and for the gala dinners formal dress is optional, but not essential.

Can I purchase day tickets?

YOXMAN is fully immersive Wilderness Reserve experience. It's a weekend celebration, taking in all the wonders of the estate. For this reason YOXMAN is only available to those who book their accommodation with us for the weekend.

Are there vegetarian or special dietary requirement options available?

We are able to cater for vegetarians and do our best to accommodate dietary requirements. Please discuss this with our sales team when booking.

Are children allowed to YOXMAN?

YOXMAN events are for over 18's only. Chidlren under 18 are welcome to stay but they will not be able to attend official YOXMAN events.

Travel & Transport

What transport is provided over the event?

Throughout the event guests will be transported to and from their accommodation and events by our team of hosts in our range of Landrovers and BMW's. Your host for the weekend will arrange all weekend transport and itinerary with you post booking.

How do I get to Wilderness Reserve?

YOXMAN is held at Wilderness Reserve, Suffolk. Approximately 2hrs from London by car. The closest train station is Darsham, which is easily reachable from London Liverpool Street station, via Ipswich (approx. 2 hour 15 mins). We can also assist with helicopter charters if needed (approx. 40 mins from London) please contact us to find more details. Each estate has plenty of space for parking with multiple charging ports for electric vehicles.

Accommodation

How do I choose a property?

Wilderness Reserve is a collection of 27 eclectic cottages, farms, barns and Manor Houses. Each entirely unique. Many properties come with hot-tubs, spa & steam, lakes. Some even come with swimming pools. We offer 1-bed romantic cottages up to 18 bedroom barns and Manors, perfect fot large groups. All properites are located close to the YOXMAN dining events and activities and you will be offered transport throughout the weekend.

What is bedroom versus exclusive-use property?

You can choose to book en-suite bedroom options across our 4 larger properties or if you would like a cottage/property entirely to yourself we offer exclusive use. Some guests prefer to have a more shared experience with the bedroom options as you will be sharing the property with other guests. Others prefer to have a property all to themselves.

What are the accommodation options?

Wilderness Reserve has a variety of private cottages, farmhouses and barns available for exclusive-use ranging from one bedroom properties through to 27 bedrooms. Our larger houses, Sibton Park Manor, Walled Garden, Blyth Manor and Chapel Barn have multiple double, en-suite bedrooms that can be reserved on an individual bases. Once you have chosen the event(s) you want to attend in the cart section of the website you can browse all our bedroom only options and exclusive-use properties to book.

What's included in the ticket?

Each ticket includes access to the event, all your meals including breakfasts through to the Michelin-starred chef lunches and dinners. All wine and Champagne, masterclasses and tastings, entertainment and your selected accommodation at Wilderness Reserve. Spa treatments and some ranger activities are not included however can be booked separately.

Are all meals over the weekend covered in the YOXMAN ticket price?

They are indeed. As well as being treated to three outstanding meals from the Michelin-starred chefs, the YOXMAN ticket price includes daily breakfast and seasonal lunches from the Wilderness Estate Kitchen, fully stocked larders in each property and all wine and beverages throughout the weekend.

Are drinks included in the price?

Yes. An ample selection of fine wines, beer, spirits as well as the finest soft drinks will be provided throughout dinners and the evening up until close. Guests are expected to enjoy themselves and be responsible. Sponsors may be running dedicated bars or experiential pop ups in which drinks are also free of charge.

YOXMAN takes place at Wilderness Reserve, Suffolk. Wilderness Reserve is an 8000-acre estate of woodland, lakes and rolling pasture, sprinkled with an eclectic collection of historic and traditional Suffolk properties.

What is Wilderness Reserve?

YOXMAN is hosted over a long weekend at Wilderness Reserve, Suffolk.

Wilderness Reserve is an 8000-acre estate of woodland, lakes and rolling pasture, sprinkled with an eclectic collection of historic and traditional Suffolk properties. Lovingly restored by artisans, each home has unique character. From the grand Grade II listed manor house and restored 15th century barn, to charming, thatched cottages and romantic retreats, Wilderness Reserve is a long-term conservation and restoration project - protecting English nature and breathing new life into historic properties. It is unlike anything or any place you’ve ever been before.

Payment & Booking

Check-in & out times?

Unless otherwise stated or agreed check-in is from 2pm and check-out at 11am.

What's included in the booking price?

Each ticket includes access to the event, all your meals including breakfasts through to the Michelin-starred chef lunches and dinners. All wine and Champagne, masterclasses and tastings, entertainment and your selected accommodation at Wilderness Reserve. Transport around the estate to and from events & accomodation is also included. Spa treatments and some ranger activities are not included, however can be booked separately.

Do you offer single occupancy prices?

This is not available. Bedroom prices are for 2 people sharing a room. You are welcome to attend on your own however and many guests enjoy this.

Exclusive-use properties. How many tickets come with an exclusive-use property?

Each bedroom in the property comes with 2 tickets. E.g a one-bedroom cottage comes with 2 tickets. A 3 bedroom property comes with 6 tickets.

Bedrooms. How many tickets come with a bedroom?

If you are booking a bedroom option you will receive 2 tickets to the event e.g you and one other. There is no discount for single occupancy.

Can I pay a deposit to secure a property?

If you are considering a larger property (6 or more people) and need time to gather your group together we can arrange an initial down payment. Please contact our team to discuss.

What is the refund policy?

Yoxman event bookings are non-refundable from the point when they are confirmed. If you notify us that you are unable to attend, as a goodwill gesture, we will make reasonable efforts to resell the accommodation and event package, including listing it on our website. If we secure a buyer we will refund you what you have paid less our reasonable costs incurred.
